Il presente articolo si propone di analizzare come si sia evoluta nel tempo la rappresentanza e la partecipazione degli Stakeholder all’interno dei Committees previsti dal legislatore europeo per la regolamentazione del settore bancario. Lo studio evidenzia come, a fronte di una iniziale scarsa rappresentanza degli Stakeholder nei Committees, la istituzione dell’EBA’s Banking Stakeholder Group rappresenti un primo tentativo per giungere alla formalizzazione degli interessi di una categoria sempre piú vasta di Stakeholder.

The article aims to analyse how the representation and participation of Stakeholders in the Committees for the regulation of the banking sector – provided by the European legal system – has evolved over time. The study shows that the EBA’s Banking Stakeholder Group institution represents a first attempt to formalize the interests of Stakeholder, a category not yet defined but evolving.
